Crooked Son

Ellis Callahan and Drew Bastian lost a guitar player to Nebraska. They decided that rockin' only needed the two of them anyway. Their only concern is raw rock 'n roll be it Classic, Southern, Alternative, Blues, or Ironic. Whatever it is, it's racous and will, if nothing else, sell a lot of beer. These two have higher aspirations however. Be ye warned...

Mitchell Creek Studios

 I have opened a teaching and recording studio in a separate building at my home. I am offering recording services and contemporary music lessons in Vocals, Piano, Bass, Guitar, Mandolin, Theory & Ear-training, and Songwriting for any and all ages. My goal is teach  how to play and/or perform and/or write the song you have always wanted to. This is about the music you like.

No False Bones

 A new EP in the works my friends! It is being designed specifically to be submitted to Busted Flat Records. I admire their work very much so I'm sending them the best of mine. This will be a collection of storytelling that will run the gamut of Folk/Roots Rock and Americana. The majority of the playing and engineering will be done by Yours Truly at newly founded Mitchell Creek Studios in the rolling hills of Northern Pennsylvania. I promise to pull at your heart-strings and quite possibly tie them back together with this one. More to come.

The Brothers Callahan

The rumors are true people. Highly anticipated and backed by popular demand, Ellis and Joe Callahan are finally teaming up to change the world as you know it! These brothers have long been partners in musical crime since the early days of their incendiary trio "The Cool Table". They are in the lab folks. Mitchell Creek Studios will soon give birth to a titan of Indie Folk Rock that runs the gamut from calm acoustic, to raucous Blues and anthemic Arena Rock. Shows, photos, videos, a website and yes, a full-length record are all in the works. I think you're really going to love it!

"The Few and the Faithful" Lives Again!

 "The Few and the Faithful" has ironically expanded yet again. In the beginning there was Steve Cinti, Christian Hogan and Jamie Hamano. Then we added Maxton Waller, Miriam Isaac and Ronja Petersen. Eventually we encompassed, Josh Nord, Will Risbourg, Arden Alfonso and Kyle Turek as well.

The latest expantion comes from the hills of rural Pennsylvania in the form of Joe Callahan, Josh Warren and Daniel Folkers. We have been rocking folks; and rocking hard. Armed with a flurry of new songs we've embraced all that is classic rock; huge choruses and massive solos all permeated by a crunchy distortion reminiscent of Lynyrd Skynrd, The Hold Steady, Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem and Tom Petty. Keep your ears open and your eyes wide people! Soon your feet shall uncontrollably tap!
